At around 7-8 pm every day a strange parade starts at Pala-U near Kaeng Krachan National Park.
Wild elephants quietly enter the village and head to the local market.
These elephants are not aggressive towards humans and even the dogs seem to be their friends.
The villagers accept these elephants as part of their daily live and do not try to chase them away.
The elephants are looking for fruit and vegetables left over from the daily market.
Garbage bins are checked along the way as well as parked cars, but no plastic bags are eaten.
Interesting is, that there are usually no damages to houses or cars.
